Fujifilm is a pioneer in diagnostic imaging and information systems for healthcare, with a range of constantly evolving, clinically proven, products and technologies designed to assist medical professionals perform efficiently and effectively. Following continued growth and success over the past year, the company is pleased to announce the launch of MyFujiMed (www.MyFujiMed.co.uk).

MyFujiMed is an interactive online community designed specifically for UK professionals working with Fujifilm Medical Systems equipment. It was created to further encourage and facilitate nationwide collaboration within the industry and features discussion boards, news on product releases and upcoming events. In addition there is a Document Library containing training videos, user manuals and quick reference materials, as well as a FAQ section and social media content.

The discussion board is designed to share best practices and value-added information and will allow customers to converse on a variety of topics relating to Fujifilm Medical products, including Synapse PACS, Synapse 3D and Synapse Mobility. The discussion board should also encourage users to share information about their experiences with Fujifilm Medical products; new questions/discussions posted on the forum will be visible to other community members and also to a Fujifilm Product Specialist for that specific product area. Users will be able to submit enhancement requests to the company for any of the product areas.

In addition, Fujifilm Medical Systems has formed links with IHE (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise), a professional body that is dedicated to developing standards for interoperability within the Imaging Informatics sector. This ensures that a standards-based approach is adopted when developing new functionality across the Synapse product range.
