Intelsat and Kayne Partners invest 26.3 million dollars in Dejero This operation will allow the Canadian company accelerate its goals of global expansion as well as developing and commercializing new connectivity solutions.

Dejero you just received by the satellite operator Intelsat and the subsidiary of Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors investment fund, Kayne Partners, an injection of 32 million Canadian dollars ($27.3 million). This operation will allow the Canadian company accelerate its goals of global expansion as well as developing and commercializing new connectivity solutions.

As part of this round of financing, Leon and Rob Shilton, Kayne Partners, will join directory of Dejero, like Michael DeMarco, Executive Vice President of operations for Intelsat.

Become now a strategic investor, Intelsat narrow even more its link with the company based in Waterloo, Ontario, which already has an Alliance, Dejero CellSat, a new solution for broadcasters, presented last August, which mixes Ku-band IP and mobile phones for live television coverage from remote locations.

DeMarco said that "the success of our recent partnership tas, have made a strategic investment that will accelerate our collaboration on connectivity multirred additional solutions for our customers."

For his part, Leon Chen, managing director of Kayne Partners, acknowledged feeling impressed with "the rapid growth and worldwide success of Dejero, clearly driven by its unique technology combination of networks that meets the challenges of connectivity in portable, vehicle and fixed locations. This investment will enable Dejero bring your innovative thinking more quickly to the market and further extend its position as the market leader."
