W-DMX Celebrates Swedish Monday at PLASA04

(02/10/2014) Wireless Solution Sweden AB is celebrating all things Sweden during PLASA 2014, held at ExCel London, October 5-8 in stand E50. On Monday, October 6, the Wireless Solution Swedish vodka bar opens at 16:00. The party spreads to the White Light Zone, where there will be a Sweden theme celebration beginning at 17:00, complete with Swedish vodka, beer and snacks. Representatives from Wireless Solution and White Light will be on hand to display W-DMX products and answer questions.

On display in the Wireless Solution booth will be the new W-DMX UglyBox MK2. This is a new tool geared towards rental and installation companies but useful for anyone. The unit is built in a compact size with a 4.3 Touch LCD Screen and includes a transceiver solution for 2.4GHz, 5.2GHz and 5.8GHz. It is a complete unit for testing the signal, testing the DMX and housing a built-in DMX Console as well. The unit is run by Lithium battery and rechargeable with a built-in SD Card reader to save all data.

The UglyBox MK2 gives users piece of mind that they have a solid connection where they can't see the cable. Users can test, save, and have all the details before a job and know that the signal is rock solid. The unit is also built to update with additional features as they become available.

Wireless Solution will also be introducing the W-DMX COB (Chip on Board) transceiver solution in an ultra compact 6x6mm size. Wireless Solution is the first to launch the SMT mounted Chip On Board radio transceiver that supports both DMX and RDM in a QFN48 package. The W-DMX COB is a low energy solution with only 40mA current consumption and facilitates distances up to 200 meters with a standard antenna. A low cost solution that makes it possible for every fixture to have W-DMX inside.

The latest firmware of G4S will also be introduced with 128-Bit encryption with enhanced and improved RDM function.
