Cine Photo Tools offers users a DJI Phantom 2 and H3-3D Gimbal kit special --

Videographers and photographers looking to expand on their shooting capabilities can benefit from a product offer by Cine Photo Tools, a combination of the advanced DJI H3-3D gimbal with the DJI Phantom 2 Quadcopter, which it is designed to fit.

The Phantom 2 is an improvement on earlier models by DJI, with flying time increasing from 14 minutes to 22 minutes. It is also equipped with a larger battery with visible LED indicators, enhanced prop design as well as a 6- channel, 2.4GHz transmitter (TX) which comes pre-bound with the aircraft. This means that, depending on conditions, the functioning range is extended to up to 3,280 line of sight.

The 3-axis gimbal is fitted with a motorised stabiliser, used to mount a GoPro HERO3 or HERO3 action camera, which helps to eliminate vibrations generated by the rotors. In addition to this, a lever which is attached to the transmitter is able to control tilting movements.

When opting for GPS or GPS Attitude flight mode, the Naza-M V2 flight control system is able to keep the Quadcopter steady and right-side-up when in action, which allows users to capture the smoothest possible shoots. Once the sticks are released, the device is held in a fixed horizontal and vertical position.

By adding a wireless video transmitter, users are able to experience a complete video piloting experience. However, due to the GoPro operating on the same Wi- Fi system, a 2.4GHz band, aircraft operation may be compromised and therefore it is not recommended to use it. A first-person view can still be achieved by making use of DJIs AVL58 5.8 GHz Video Link Kit or a 5 GHz or higher set third- party solution.
