The Nigerian artist Burna Boy is still unhappy after missing out on a Grammy at the past weekend's annual awards ceremony.

The international superstar took to social media to lash out, claiming he is much more deserving than SA's dynamic golden trio.

BURNA BOY DISSES GRAMMYS FOR SA' WIN It seems Burna Boy is still in shock after his recent Grammy loss against South African singers Zakes Bantwini, Nomcebo Zikode, and Wouter Kellerman. The trio won in the Best Global Music Performance category at the 2023 Grammy Awards held on 5 February at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Burna Boy took to Instagram in a rant, saying: The Grammys is full of shits and lies. We all know that. Nobody else deserves that shit but me. They can't stop me now not ever.

The post wasn't the artist's first social media rant.

The day after the Grammys, he posted: Even after assembling the Avengers on my album Grammy still choose to shenk me. BTW My Happiness Still Be My Own, Burna Boy continued.

The singer isn't the only artist that is unhappy with their snub.

Social media has been a buzz since the Grammys, with some artists, musicians, and creatives celebrating their wins and others criticising the Recording Academy.

THE AFRICAN GIANT' The Nigerian singer's Grammy snub was deemed particularly shocking after his album, Love, Damini, Burna Boy, earned him a spot to perform at Rihanna's Savage x Fenty Volume 4 fashion show, ZAlebs report.

He headlined the Mzansi's DStv Delicious International Food and Music Festival, where over 50 000 people jammed to his music.

SA's other golden star, Grammy winner Black Coffee is also a fan. The award-winning DJ shared a photo of a face time' chat with Burna Boy, calling the singer A King .an African Giant.
