Telecommunications leader joins Akamai NetAlliance Partner Program to leverage Web Performance, Media Delivery, and Cloud Security services
SINGAPORE (December 1, 2014) PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia International (Telin), a state-owned telecommunications and network provider, today announced that it has joined the Akamai NetAlliance Partner Program. The strategic partnership with Akamai Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: AKAM), the leading provider of cloud services for delivering, optimizing and securing online content and business applications, will enable Telin to provide Akamai's Web Performance, Media Delivery, and Cloud Security Solutions to its business customers in Indonesia.
The partnership aims to increase Telins capabilities to deliver innovative information and communications technology (ICT) solutions to its business customers, who will benefit from greater agility and productivity to compete in a rapidly changing and highly globalized world. The Akamai suite of solutions offered through Telin will help its customers meet rising user demands for instant, reliable and secure access to content online, on any device, and from anywhere. This will enable them to accelerate their websites to grow revenue and conduct business globally.
Through this partnership with Akamai, Telin will be able to increase the customer awareness of its CDN brand, Indonesia CDN Solution. In addition, Telin will deliver the best alternative for all local content providers to reduce costs and provide an enhanced customer experience by accelerating access to the web. This could also lead to content monetization for Internet providers, said Syarif Syarial Ahmad, CEO of Telin.
The Akamai NetAlliance program allows companies like Telin to incorporate and combine Akamai technologies with their own products and services to offer more robust and innovative solutions for their customers. NetAlliance Partners can offer services to their clients that will help them reduce infrastructure costs through off-load capabilities, extend services globally without capital investment, and increase the breadth and depth of their product line as they further incorporate Akamai solutions.
