TDC, the largest Danish provider of TV & entertainment, broadband and mobile solutions, today announced as presenting partner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 with the European Broadcasting Union.
May 5 to10th 2014, as Europe once again gathers to celebrate music and culture at the 59th annual Eurovision Song contest, TDC is committed to provide a communication platform worthy of the worlds largest broadcast event. With more than 90 million viewers in Europe and even more viewers worldwide, from China, Canada, the United States to Australia and India, the Eurovision Song Contest is in a cultural league of its own.
The Eurovision Song Contest represents a both festive and important occasion to bring people and cultures closer together. TDC is devoted to create thrilling opportunities for people to join and engage around the event , says Anders Jensen, Group Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Executive Vice President, Consumer Division, TDC Group.
TDC developed the worlds first subscription-based music streaming service, TDC Play and we also provide Danish households with an entire range of communication solutions. That puts us a unique position to bring the Eurovision Song Contest to life on TV as well as on digital platforms and in local communities.
