
TVE scheduled at least three committees of selection for projects for the 2014 El responsable de Cine y Ficci n de TVE, Fernando L pez Puig, prev celebrar este a o tres comit s de selecci n: uno a finales del mes de marzo o principios del de abril, otro a finales de julio o en septiembre, y el tercero a finales de noviembre .
Televisi n Espa ola (TVE) prev celebrar en 2014 tres comit s de selecci n para proyectos participados por la cadena p blica, que incluso podr an llegar a ser cuatro. As lo ha confirmado el responsable de Cine y Ficci n de TVE, Fernando L pez Puig, durante un coloquio con productores del sector audiovisual gallego celebrado el pasado viernes, d a 24, en Santiago de Compostela. En este encuentro, organizado por el Cl ster Audiovisual Galego (CLAG), L pez Puig tambi n destac que TVE es con diferencia la cadena que m s cine espa ol emite .
Esta sesi n, en la que participaron m s de treinta profesionales del audiovisual gallego, se enmarc dentro del ciclo de coloquios que el Clag viene desarrollando desde hace ya m s de un a o, y ha contado con el apoyo del Igape, la Conseller a de Econom a e Industria y el Fondo Europeo de Desarrollo Regional. En esta ocasi n, el presidente del Clag, Andr s Barb , ha sido el encargado de presentar a L pez Puig, a quien agradeci su presencia en Galicia.
Selecci n de proyectos
Por su parte, el director de Cine y Ficci n de TVE confirm la previsi n de la cadena de celebrar tres comit s de selecci n para proyectos cinematogr ficos durante el presente a o: uno a finales del mes de marzo o principios del de abril, otro a finales de julio o en septiembre, y el tercero a finales de noviembre . Seg n L pez Puig incluso podr a llegar a celebrarse un cuarto comit de selecci n, en funci n del n mero de proyectos recibidos y del gasto del presupuesto.
En este sentido, el directivo tambi n se al que el plazo para la recepci n de proyectos se cerrar dos semanas antes de cada reuni n del comit , si bien aquellos trabajos que se presenten con posterioridad se valorar n en la siguiente convocatoria.
As mismo, L pez Puig explic a los asistentes cu l es el modus operandi del equipo de cine y ficci n de TVE para seleccionar los proyectos en los que participa la cadena p blica, respetando siempre la norma que obliga a destinar el 6% de los ingresos de RTVE al cine espa ol.
En cuanto al reparto del importe correspondiente a este porcentaje, el representante del canal p blico explic que las tres cuartas partes se destinan a la financiaci n de largometrajes, y la cuarta parte restante se dedica en cantidades iguales al apoyo a las tv-movies, por un lado, y a las series de animaci n y a los documentales, por otro.
En el caso de las pel culas premium (aquellas que se emiten en el prime time) el apoyo de TVE puede llegar a 1,5 millones, mientras que para las restantes es de un m ximo de 700.000 euros, asegur . En el resto de formatos, las cantidades invertidas por cada proyecto son bastante inferiores.
Aunque la cadena ya tiene la emisi n cubierta hasta finales de 2014, seg n indic L pez Puig, ste anim a los productores a que presenten sus proyectos, aconsej ndoles que es importante que tengan en cuenta el perfil de la cadena y su target potencial. En determinados proyectos, explic , TVE busca una implicaci n mayor a trav s del contrato de desarrollo , mediante el cual se pretende garantizar la rentabilidad de la producci n. Y en el caso concreto de los proyectos cinematogr ficos, el directivo aconsej que se presenten con un presupuesto claro, un plan de financiaci n muy avanzado y un equipo t cnico y art stico cerrado .
Promoci n de cine espa ol en TVE
Los asistentes aprovecharon la presencia del responsable de cine de la cadena p blica para reivindicar una mayor y mejor promoci n del cine espa ol por parte de TVE. Ante esto, L pez Puig asegur que la ley de financiaci n nos obliga a buscar nuevas f rmulas para mejorar la promoci n de nuestro cine y estamos trabajando en ello .
Finalmente, preguntado por la posibilidad de que TVE no emita tanto cine americano , L pez Puig dijo que TVE es con diferencia la televisi n que m s cine espa ol emite . Aunque aclar que si bien es una cadena p blica, tambi n es televisi n, por lo que tiene que competir. El cine americano hoy en d a es muy til para que la cadena sea rentable, a trav s de las audiencias , concluy .
