Thuraya donates satellite equipment and airtime to the Fishermen Association and Red Crescent on the occasion of the 43rd UAE National Day Dubai, UAE, December 1, 2014 - Thuraya Telecommunications Company, a leading Mobile Satellite Services (MSS) operator today announced that it has donated mobile satellite

equipment and airtime in support of the Fishermen Association and Red Crescent, Sharjah Branch in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The Fishermen Association will receive a Thuraya

XT satellite phone to aid in the safety and security of fishermen, while the Red Crescent will receive a Thuraya XT and IP Voyager terminal to support its activities across the region.
