Flovel to Introduce High-Sensitivity HD Camera at NAB 04

At next month's NAB Show in Las Vegas, FLOVEL Company Japan, a FOR-A Corporation group company, will unveil its new FZ-B3 ultra high-sensitivity HD camera. The company will showcase the FZ-B3 within FOR-A's NAB booth .

FLOVEL FZ-B3 camera has an unprecedented low-light sensitivity of 0.003 lux for color motion shooting. Employing 3 HbCMOS technology, its three CMOS color image sensor enables operators to capture high-fidelity color images with low noise at high sensitivity. The new compact camera records in 1080i (59.94Hz or 50Hz) and 720p (59.94Hz or 50Hz) HD-SDI formats.

Superior color fidelity combined with enhanced low-light sensitivity makes the FZ-B3 ideal for demanding high-resolution applications, such as: surveillance, microscopy, ecology observation, day/night policing and traffic control.

Our new HD camera employs state-of-the-art imaging technology to produce high-quality HD color video reproduction at light levels as low as mere moonlight, said Mr. Susumu Hotta, Senior Managing Director, FLOVEL. The FZ-B3 marks FLOVEL's latest addition to its high-end HD specialty camera line, which includes the FZ-B1 ultra high-sensitivity camera for day and night observation. The FZ-B1 has been used for Aurora observation in Alaska, night time observation from a space station, and deep sea shooting.
