Vienna, Austria. February 18th, 2025 ToolsOnAir, a leading provider of broadcast solutions for the macOS and Linux platforms, released version 2025.1 of just: in mac, just:in mac lite and just:in mac lite NDI capture solutions.
We are pleased to release new versions of our capture solutions that include many improvements to the capture engine and introducing a seamless online license activation process for all current capture and future playout versions. With this enhancement, permanent or temporary licensing as well as transferring a license to another machine are simply a click away says Peter Steiner, Head of Worldwide Sales at ToolsOnAir.
New Version 2025.1 of ToolsOnAir's Capture Solutions for macOS Version 2025.1 of the just:in mac capture solution features numerous enhancements and improvements to confirm our commitment to the macOS platform. Notable improvements include the introduction of a seamless online license activation process, enhanced recording support for incoming SRT, UDP, and ST-2110 sources, streamlined multicamera production configuration, full compatibility with macOS Sequoia and the latest generation of Blackmagic Design drivers, as well as enhancements to the existing Batch and Schedule recording modes. Finally, just:in mac 2025.1 expands the support for MXF profiles (HDF01a/b and XDF-01) to comply with the German ARD and ZDF specification for file exchange between broadcasters and external delivery.
ToolsOnAir's entry-level capture solutions just:in mac lite and just:in mac lite NDI have also been updated to version 2025.1 and highly benefit from the improvements of the core just:in mac engine.
All flavours of the just:in mac solution line for macOS are available for download on the respective landing pages on www.toolsonair.com.
ToolsOnAir's macOS-based capture solutions are fully compatible and ready to be deployed on macOS Sequoia 15.3.x and higher, macOS Sonoma 14.7.x, macOS Ventura 13.7.x with Apple silicon (M1-M4) as the preferred and recommended hardware.
