In response to the nationwide shutdown of collegiate athletics due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Sports Video Group (SVG) has moved its annual SVG College Summit into a fully virtual format for 2020!

SVG is proud to announce the preliminary agenda for SVG College Summit: Virtual Campus 2020, a four-day series of keynotes, panels, presentations, and video-based networking events to be held on June 22-25. And you can attend it all for free and from the safety of your own home!

Registration for all online activities is free to all qualified professionals and students. And with the program going online, we expect greater participation (both from VIP speakers and attendees) and a community more united than ever before.

Monday will focus on our temporary normal. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a devastating effect on the collegiate sports world, leading to the cancelation of the winter championship and spring sports seasons. However, video production professionals are innovative and ambitious people. We will discuss how we've all responded to this challenge while also diving into some new and unique live productions that are sure to inspire you for when we all get the sports we love back.

The COVID-19 pandemic has turned the video production world on its head. But, it's also opened up the industry to a world of innovation that we normally never would have been exposed to. Leading video directors from athletic departments and conference offices from across the country share how their strategies have shifted to create content in the present and how they are innovating their infrastructure in anticipation of the future.

Presentation: Exposing More Sports Through Technology Production Blueprint #1

As video departments master their ability to broadcast traditional team sports, innovative minds are looking for new ways to expand their programming offering and serve more of their athletic department by delivering more sports than ever before. Some events, however, are substantially more challenging to broadcast than others. In the Production Blueprint series, live content creators give you their experiences in broadcasting those sports that require a special level of expertise to accomplish.
