atoms pone desde hoy a disposici n de sus usuarios una actualizaci n gratuita para permitir la grabaci n CDNG RAW de c maras Sony, Canon and Panasonic seleccionadas en Shogun Inferno, Shogun Flame y los productos Shogun originales. No s lo son los primeros monitores-grabadores que ofrecen la grabaci n CDNG en una SSD, sino que son tambi n son los primeros que ofrecen CDNG RAW a los usuarios finales de forma gratuita.
CDNG graba im genes en bruto de un sensor de c mara como una secuencia de tramas individuales en lugar de v deo, lo que permite a los usuarios recrear un proceso de postproducci n con un control personalizado sobre balance de blancos, reducci n de ruido y debayering en lugar de confiar en el procesamiento en tiempo real de la c mara. Atomos ha habilitado la grabaci n de Sony RAW de la FS700 / FS7 / FS5, la grabaci n Canon RAW de la C300MKII / C500 y la grabaci n Panasonic RAW de la Varicam LT.

Para aquellos que se sienten c modos con la edici n en RAW, las im genes se graban en CDNG como 12-bit 4: 4: 4, particularmente til para producciones de gama alta y aplicaciones de pantalla verde que no prefieren ning n submuestreo de Chroma. La licencia de RAW es gratuita en la serie de Atomos Shogun. La salida RAW del FS5 / FS700 requiere una actualizaci n de pago de Sony y requiere el complemento Sony XDCA-FS7 en el caso del camcorder FS7.
La producci n RAW de Canon es diferente a la de Sony, proporcionando im genes de 10 bits con Log y Gamut. La gran ventaja de la captura RAW desde la c mara C300MKII y C500 es que transforma estas c maras de HD a 4Kp30. Una vez m s, el usuario puede grabar en Apple ProRes o Avid DNxHR o preservar la RAW como CDNG para una postproducci n precisa.
