Samsung Electronics ha presentado The Wall, el primer televisor modular MicroLED de 146 pulgadas del mundo, en su evento anual First Look que tiene lugar durante CES 2018 de Las Vegas. La pantalla de televisi n modular y autoemisora de luz MicroLED de 146 pulgadas se ha exhibido junto con las ltimas innovaciones de Samsung en tecnolog a de pantallas, demostrando c mo el televisor est evolucionando para ofrecer a los consumidores una experiencia de visualizaci n excepcional a la vez que cumple con la funci n de centro conectado inteligente para mejorar la vida cotidiana.
En el evento First Look de este a o, que ha contado la asistencia de m s de 300 medios e influencers de todo el mundo, participaron Jonghee Han, presidente de Visual Display de Samsung y Dave Das, vicepresidente senior de Electr nica de Consumo en Samsung Electronics Am rica. Ambos esbozaron la visi n que tiene Samsung sobre el futuro, un futuro en la que las pantallas de televisi n ofrecen im genes brillantes y adem s evolucionan para integrarse perfectamente en la vida de las personas.
Jonghee Han, presidente del Visual Display Business de Samsung Electronics, ha asegurado que el primer televisor modular MicroLED de consumo del mundo, The Wall', representa otro gran avance. Puede adaptarse a cualquier tama o y ofrece un brillo, una gama de colores, un volumen de color y unos niveles de negro que son realmente incre bles. Estamos entusiasmados con este avance en nuestra hoja de ruta hacia el futuro de los televisores, y tambi n con la extraordinaria experiencia de visualizaci n que ofrece a los consumidores .
MicroLED, la pantalla del futuroEl televisor modular The Wall de Samsung, de 146 pulgadas y con tecnolog a MicroLED, ofrece una definici n incre ble sin restricciones de tama o, resoluci n o forma. Se trata de un televisor con tecnolog a de LED autoemisores de luz a escala microm trica ( m). Es decir, son LED f sicamente mucho m s peque os que los actuales y que adem s producen luz por s mismos.
La tecnolog a MicroLED incorporada en el televisor The Wall elimina la necesidad de emplear filtros de color o paneles de retroiluminaci n, y a la vez ofrece a los consumidores la mejor experiencia de visualizaci n. Adem s la pantalla MicroLED sobresale en cuanto a durabilidad y eficacia, incluyendo la m xima eficiencia lum nica, la vida til de la fuente de luz y el consumo de energ a, estableciendo cu les ser n los est ndares para las tecnolog as de pantalla futuras.
Con un dise o basado en m dulos y sin bisel, The Wall tambi n ejemplifica c mo los consumidores pueden personalizar el tama o y la forma de su televisor para satisfacer sus necesidades. The Wall puede adaptarse a diferentes prop sitos, incluyendo la creaci n de una pantalla mural para m ltiples espacios.
Inteligencia Artificial para im genes en 8KSamsung tambi n present el primer televisor QLED del mundo con tecnolog a 8K AI, que ser lanzado internacionalmente, empezando por Corea y Estados Unidos, durante la segunda mitad de 2018. Esta tecnolog a emplea la inteligencia artificial (AI) para escalar contenido disponible en definici n est ndar a la resoluci n 8K. Para ello emplea un algoritmo patentado que ajusta autom ticamente la resoluci n de la pantalla bas ndose en las propiedades de cada escena, mejorando para cada escena la calidad de imagen y transformando f cilmente cualquier tipo de contenido, de cualquier fuente, en contenido 8K de alta resoluci n.
Esta soluci n 8K maximiza la experiencia de visualizaci n a trav s de varios aspectos nuevos: la mejora de los detalles, para enriquecer el contenido en definici n est ndar; la reducci n del ruido; la funci n de recuperaci n de contornos, que perfila con m s nitidez los objetos en pantalla; y el ajuste autom tico del sonido seg n el contenido, como eventos deportivos o conciertos de m sica.
Smart TVEn el evento First Look, Samsung tambi n ha presentado las funciones mejoradas de conexi n de sus Smart TV de 2018, incluyendo Bixby, SmartThings y Universal Guide.
Bixby es el asistente inteligente desarrollado por Samsung que facilita la interacci n del usuario con el televisor gracias a su intuitiva experiencia de uso (UX) y a sus amplias capacidades de an lisis de voz. Las Smart TV de 2018 de Samsung tambi n facilitar n la conectividad y la interconexi n entre dispositivos gracias a SmartThings, el hub de la plataforma IoT (Internet of Things) de Samsung. SmartThings ofrece una manera todav a m s sencilla de controlar el televisor y de sincronizar los dispositivos. 2018 tambi n ver el lanzamiento de Universal Guide, la gu a de programaci n de televisi n avanzada que recomienda autom ticamente programas y contenidos seg n las preferencias del usuario.
