Editshare ha presentado en IBC su nueva soluci n de almacenamiento compartido totalmente port til Field 2. Esta nueva versi n de su anterior sistema Field, presenta capacidades de gesti n de contenidos multimedia, ingesta de ficheros, compartici n avanzada de proyectos/bloqueo de bins y capacidades de archivo en un chasis robusto, compacto de altas prestaciones todo en uno dise ado para producciones tanto m viles como de estudio.
Andy Liebman, fundador y CEO de EditShare, subraya que el nuevo dise o del Field 2 es incluso m s ligero y m s robusto que su predecesor, con unas dimensiones que cumplen con las m s exigentes restricciones de equipaje de mano de la mayor a de las aerol neas. Junto con la gesti n de contenidos, compartici n de proyectos y capacidades de archivo de EditShare, Field 2 ofrece a los editores un completo flujo de trabajo sin cintas end-to-end en un peque o dispositivo con herramientas para colaborar con otros editores en cualquier lugar. Ya sea que est rodando fuera una pel cula en alguna localizaci n o un evento en un cami n ENG, o en una oficina remota, Field 2 le ofrece las ltimas capacidades de edici n y producci n para un flujo de trabajo m s eficiente .
Field 2 tiene todas las caracter sticas de los sistemas Xstream y Energy, incluida la misma protecci n de Raid de discos, compartici n tanto de media como de proyectos, compatibles con Final Cut, Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro y lightowrks. Adem s a trav s de la herramienta de Edithsare Sync Tools es posible sincronizar el Media de Field 2 con otro servidor Editshare de modo remoto a trav s de una simple conexi n de Internet.

Licencia de Ark Tape para 10 cintas
Tarjeta de Raid de 8 puertos. Si se configura con discos de 3.5 incluir a 4 puertos internos y 4 externos por tanto no ser a necesario una tarjeta raid adicional para a adir un chasis de expansi n y ampliar el almacenamiento. Si se configura con discos de 2,5, los 8 puertos ser an internos por lo que un chasis de expansi n necesitar a una tarjeta de raid adicional para ser a adido.
M ximo rendimiento. En un Raid de 4 discos de 3.5 pulgadas, puede soportar un rendimiento de ocho streams de ProRes HQ o DnxHD 220 o 24 streams de video de 25 Mbit tales como DV25 o XDCAM-EX 25. Un Field de ocho discos 10K SAS de 2.5 pulgadas proporciona aproximadamente un incremento doble del rendimiento. Un Field de 8 discos SSD de 2.5 pulgadas proporciona aproximadamente un incremente seis veces superior.
Facilidad en el mantenimiento : gracias a una bandeja extra ble se puede acceder f cilmente a los diferentes componentes como CPU, RAM, etc., desconectando un par de cables de la fuente de alimentaci n se puede realizar cualquier cambio r pido en caso de fallo del sistema.

Hasta 10 conexiones m s de 1Gb ethernet consiguiendo un total de 14 conexiones
Permite a adir una tarjeta 10Gb para conectar el Field 2 a un switch, tarjeta SAS para la conexi n de una librer a Ark tape o un lector b sico LTO o tarjeta dual de captura con dos canales SDI, en formatos como XDCAM-EX35, DnxHD, DVCProHD, para grabar directamente sobre el almacenamiento de Field2.
