Gqeberha: The Empire, The River, and Scandal! viewers are not celebrating Valentine's Day as their favourite characters are not getting the happily-ever-after storylines they deserve.

VALENTINE'S DAY DOESN'T EXIST IN SOAPVILLE Mzansi Magic's latest telenovela Gqeberha: The Empire fans are saddened by Thulani and Anathi recent breakup, while Scandal! viewers are fuming with writers for making Dintle marry her father Reggie and The River fans are still hoping Paulina will get justice after Angelina stole her baby and her man.

Luzuko's fourth wife Anathi (Akhenime Mfenyane) regrets marrying him instead of his son Thulani (Tembinkosi Ngcukana), who she kissed and was intimate with first.

Anathi, who is currently on honeymoon with (Mbulelo Grootboom) is dreading every minute with her new husband and realises she's in love with her stepson Thulani. Thulani planned to propose marriage to her but got engaged to his long-term girlfriend instead, to try to mend his broken heart.

Viewers of Tshedza Pictures' latest telenovela now predict that Anathi may be pregnant with his baby and she'll file for divorce when she learns the truth.

Anathi also revealed to her best friend that she's caught feelings for Thulani and that the two were intimate on the beach when they disappeared a weekend ago.

According to the TVSA Gqeberha: The Empire 17 February teaser Anathi will fear for her life.

Anathi fears for her life. She cannot stay married to Luzuko anymore.

SCANDAL!': DINTLE MARRIES HER FATHER REGGIE Scandal! Viewers were shattered when actress Mapaseka Koetle's character Dintle married her father Reggie.

Her world came crashing down when her mother Salamina, who she hadn't seen in decades revealed that her soulmate is actually her long-lost father.

Her mother started a new life, got married, and had other children when she abandoned Dintle, who was raised by her aunt Kutlwano. Salamina also revealed that she and Reggie, played by Makhoala Ndebele, broke up years ago as they were too young to raise Dintle together.

Viewers were hopeful as Dintle has never caught a break when it comes to love as she's been brokenhearted from one relationship to another.

Fortunately for Dintle, she and Reggie broke up before she fell pregnant with her sibling which could've resulted in an abortion.

THE RIVER': PAULINA LOSES COBRA AND THE BABY Fans of 1Magic's telenovela The River are upset with writers for letting Angelina get away with stealing Paulina's husband Thuso Cobra Mokoena, her baby, and for killing her.

Viewers are also devastated that actress Tango Ncetezo's character Paulina didn't get a funeral like her co-actor Lawrence Maleka, who also exited the show as Zolani in season six.

Fans don't pity Cobra (Presley Chueneyagae) who is mourning Paulina as they feel he mistreated her, disrespected her, and emotionally abused her throughout the seasons.

Fans are wondering why the writers have never given Paulina a happy ending since season one; Cobra got her arrested, she lost her brother Lindani, Angelina boycotted her wedding, etc. Just as viewers thought things are going well for Paulina, Angelina (Nokuthwala Ledwaba) bribed nurses to change the DNA results so that she can keep her baby.
