Cooke Optics Presents First Two Working Anamorphic/i Lenses at IBC 0

At IBC 2013 Cooke Optics, the multi-award winning manufacturer of precision lenses for film and television, will present the first two working production models from its Anamorphic/i range that was launched to great acclaim at NAB 2013. In addition, the first production model in the new Cooke Metrology lens testing range will be on display on Stand 11.D10, together with Cooke's full range of miniS4/i, S4/i, and 5/i lenses.

The new 40mm and 75mm Anamorphic/i lenses will be available to view on the stand. The Anamorphic/i lenses, which are approximately the size of Cooke's industry standard S4/i lenses, retain the Cooke Look , are colour matched with the Cooke 5/i, S4/i and miniS4/i ranges, and come equipped with the next generation /i Technology, /i Squared, to capture lens metadata.

IBC 2013 will also see the first production model from the Cooke Metrology line that was introduced at NAB 2013. Many current projectors cannot pass a beam correctly through lenses that are faster than T2. Cooke's new lens test projector is designed for todays fast lenses and is so bright that it can be demonstrated in daylight, making it much easier to discern flaws and artifacts in fast lenses.

Cooke will also demonstrate its full range of miniS4/I lenses, which have recently been used on high-end television dramas including Devious Maids and The Client List, as well as the industry leading S4/i and 5/i lenses.
