Vislinks AirCam Max Wins NewBay Medias Best of Show Award, Presented by Video Edge Magazine.
The AirCam Max, Vislinks hybrid multi-mode wireless camera transmitter, is the recipient of one of the industrys most prestigious technology honors, NewBay Medias Best of Show Award, presented at the 2014 NAB Show in Las Vegas by Video Edge magazine.
NewBay Medias Best of Show Awards are evaluated by a panel of engineers and industry experts, and are selected based on innovation, feature set, cost efficiency and performance in serving the industry. Only a small number of products were chosen for NewBay Medias Best of Show Award from among hundreds of new products in competition.
The AirCam Max takes the power of a news van and puts it in a portable, cameraback unit. From the moment of arrival on the scene, the unit can be transmitting via cellular networks. Should cellular congestion rise, the unit can seamlessly switch to microwave transmission to ensure the studio receives uninterrupted, broadcast-quality video throughout the event.
