DELTACAST Joins the NewTek Developer Network

(27/11/2014) Developer and editor of DELTA-touch and DELTA-stat systems, DELTACAST announces TriCaster production system and 3Play slow motion system integration is now compatible in production workflows using DELTA-stat and DELTA-touch. Thanks to the implementation of NewTek AirSend protocol, the latest versions of DELTA-stat and DELTA-touch can be directly integrated with NewTek systems using a simple Ethernet connection. Scoring, statistics, graphics and animated analysis are sent to the TriCaster and 3play in real time, through an IP connection, without using video inputs.

DELTA-stat is a turnkey solution for complete graphics management during sports live productions (statistics, team composition, animations, results ), with one user interface for each sport. DELTA-stat can be used in a mono-channel mode, delivering an SDI signal, or in double SDI channel mode to output Preview and Final. Today, DELTA-stat can be configured to send both channels simultaneously to TriCaster and 3Play, as streamed feeds.

DELTA-touch is a presentation touch screen solution giving the ability to onscreen journalists to illustrate their comments using graphics or to liven up interviews by launching interactive videos.

DELTA-touch is used by TV stations for many different use cases, such as news department for their coverage of election results, or by sport channels for the coverage of their top competitions. The standard version of DELTA-touch delivers content to both destinations, the production system and the touch screen or the tablet used, simultaneously and in real-time. With the integration of NewTek AirSend protocol, content can also be sent simultaneously and in real-time to TriCaster through the network and to the journalists visual support through SDI or network connections.
