Report on the air quality from January to August in Ningbo released

Data from the Municipal Environment Monitoring Center shows that percentage of excellent or good air quality in Ningbo reaches 85.2% from January to August of 2015. The average PM2.5 concentration is 42 g/m3, down 4.5% from the same period in 2014.

The results also show the drop of other indexes, including the average concentration of SO2 NO2 CO PM2.5 and PM10. However the concentration of O3 rises. The days that reach the standard of air quality increase, up 1.3% from the same period of 2014.

Air quality becomes better

The data shows that the air quality of downtown Ningbo is good from January to August of 2015. The percentage of excellent or good air quality of the monitored 243 days is 85.2%, up 1.3% from the same period of 2014.
