The South African version of the popular American reality franchise will be heating up television screens at the end of the month, and the cast has finally been revealed.

GET READY FOR LOVE & HIP HOP SA' The show will consist of 13 jam-packed episodes featuring some of the country's hottest hip-hop personalities.

Viewers will get a first-hand look at how big names in the industry, like Da L.E.S, Money Badoo, and J Molley, juggle their careers, relationships, and family dynamics all while navigating the hip-hop music scene.

Since the American franchise's inception in 2011, the show has come under scrutiny, with many fans believing it is scripted.

But, despite the bad press, Love & Hip Hop has been rated as one of the most watched and unscripted franchises in pay television history, EWN reports.

The show will air from Monday 27 February on DStv's MTV Africa.
