Following a wild Leagues Cup that saw Lionel Messi and Inter Miami steamroll to a trophy, Major League Soccer's regular season resumed last week and the focus at Apple TV has shifted back to the league's push to the playoffs and MLS Cup.
MLS's first season with Apple TV has received quite a bit of attention. On the production side, the league has put considerable effort in building a smart, data-filled graphics package to accompany its match portfolio on the streaming platform. To do so, the league is utilizing data and technology via partners like Sportec Solutions, Deltatre, and Vizrt to enhance the viewer experience by providing unique insights that bring fans closer to the game.
In this presentation, Chris Schlosser, Major League Soccer's SVP, Emerging Ventures and Thom Stevens, Deltatre's Senior Director of Solution Engineering, Sports share a look at how MLS continues to push the envelope with what is possible when combining ground-breaking technology with a progressive approach to data to provide our tech-savvy fans a reimagined next-generation experience.
