Mariner Software Celebrates Landmark 25 Year Anniversary

Minneapolis, MN - What began very small and with just two specialized products, Mariner Software is now an industry-recognized leader of Mac OS, Windows and iOS software applications. Proudly celebrating 25 years in business, Mariner has been developing superior products for the creative writing, as well as the home and office markets.

Back in 1990, I started Mariner Software out of my garage, said Bill Paar, Founder and CTO of Mariner. 25 years and hundreds of thousands of customers later, we are still developing Mac, Win and iOS apps.

Mariner's leadership and success has grown from the home and office markets, with products such as, Paperless and MacGourmet Deluxe, to the writing market, with MacJournal, Contour, and Persona. In addition to Mac OS and Windows products, Mariner has developed several applications for the iOS platform.

I'm pretty confident that this 25 year mark puts us in a select group of Mac developers, said Michael Wray, President of Mariner. The landscape has changed quite dramatically, but our focus remains the same, which is to create software that everyone can use.
