ZEISS Corona process is a further NIR process spectrometer in the spectrometer family. The spectral range from 380 nm to 1650 nm allows color measurement and compositional analysis simultaneously with a single compact system. This means the sensor can be used for incoming inspection in the food industry, in all processes of any product line and during final inspection. The spectrometer measures independently of the distance to the sample and is therefore ideal for mounting above the flow of goods exactly in cases where direct contact with the material to be measured is either undesired or impossible.
ZEISS ProcessAssist is a newly developed, comprehensive package of intelligent assistance systems that automatically ensures stable and precise measuring results by completely eliminating ambient influences. With its stainless steel housing design, ZEISS Corona process meets the hygiene requirements of the food industry and complies with the stipulations of protective classes IP67 and ATEX Zone 21/22.
The ZEISS InProcess operator software allows the sensor system to be configured flexibly and intuitively. Different user levels ensure safety and user-friendliness. Numerous hardware and software interfaces enable possible integration of the sensor into process control and regulation. This reduces production costs and enhances product safety at the same time. The initial costs are recovered within a short time.
