En raison de la distanciation sociale et des restrictions de d placement li es la pand mie de COVID-19, les repr sentants des quipes participantes n'ont pas pu assister physiquement aux tirages au sort et la c r monie organis s au si ge de l'UEFA, pr s de Gen ve, en Suisse. C'est pourquoi l'UEFA a charg TVU Networks de fournir une solution cl en main de production distance, permettant certains des clubs participants d'assister la c r monie en direct depuis leur domicile respectif, tout en fournissant une assistance technique et une formation sur place aux clubs et au si ge de l'UEFA.
De nombreux clubs europ ens de premier plan, venus de tout le continent, ont particip aux deux tirages, notamment le FC Bayern Munich, potentiel vainqueur de la Ligue des champions de l'UEFA, et le Sevilla FC, vainqueur de la Ligue Europa. Pour relier chaque site, la configuration de la production distance devait inclure : des flux audio de retour, un mixage avec limination des retours pour les interviews des membres de l' quipe, une communication intercom synchronis e pour les cam ramans de chaque site, et une transmission avec moins d'une seconde de d lai.

Pour la c r monie de remise des prix, TVU Networks a fourni des packs certains des clubs directement sur leur lieu de r sidence. Chaque kit de production TVU comprenait : un cam raman, une assistance technique et une formation, des metteurs mobiles TVU One et l'application de diffusion mobile TVU Anywhere pour la redondance des transmissions. Les flux en direct des sites distants ont t envoy s au studio de la Radio T l vision Suisse (RTS) Gen ve pour la production finale et la diffusion sur le site Internet de l'UEFA et sur d'autres grandes cha nes sportives dans le monde.
Videolink AG, le partenaire de TVU Networks bas en Suisse, a fourni un soutien technique important sur le terrain Gen ve.
TVU Partyline a permis chacun des clubs de football participant distance de recevoir le retour vid o du programme en direct en temps r el (moins de 100 ms de d lai). L' limination des retours mix s/minus a assur le bon d roul des interviews.
