At Broadcast Video Expo 2017 (Excel London, Feb. 28-Mar. 2, stand J18), Matrox will exhibit their latest in H.264 streaming and recording devices, including the dual-input Monarch LCS , beside the complete family of Monarch streaming appliances, the Maevex 6100 quad encoder card, the Mura IPX IP multiviewer card, along with the VS4Recorder Pro multi-camera recording app.
Matrox Monarch LCS - Video Content Capture Appliance
The affordable, award-winning Matrox Monarch LCS accepts video from any SDI or HDMI camera and presentation content from computers over HDMI. IT administrators will find the reliable, stand-alone appliance simple to set up and integrate into any open Video Management System (VMS) or Lecture Management System (LMS). Fully schedulable, the LCS eliminates the requirement for complex recording equipment in order to capture presentations in lecture halls, enabling lecture capture in any and all classrooms.
Matrox Maevex 6100 - 4K Quad Encoder Card
The Matrox Maevex 6100 4K quad encoder PCI Express card is the next generation in Matrox's AV-over-IP portfolio. The Maevex 6100 delivers industry-leading 4K/UHD and Full HD multi-channel capture, encoding, streaming, and recording. Built on H.264, the world's most common codec, this plug-and-play solution fits seamlessly into existing infrastructures and interoperates with any device on the network, ensuring high-density content distribution and system scalability. The flexible communication and powerful reach offered by the Maevex 6100 card, and included Matrox PowerStream Plus management software, make this cutting-edge technology ideal for use in enterprise, government, education, digital signage or anywhere AV-over-IP is required.
Matrox Monarch HD - Streaming and Recording Appliances
Generating H.264-encoded video streams at bitrates from 500 Kbps to 30 Mbps, the Matrox Monarch HDX and Monarch HD streaming and recording appliances have powerful scaling, deinterlacing, and noise-reduction engines which ensure only pristine images are sent to the internal encoders. For streaming purposes, the encoders use either RTMP or RTSP protocol to deliver live streams to local or cloud-based media servers. In recording, the encoders write MP4 or MOV files to local USB drives, SD cards, or network-mapped drives for post-event editing or archiving.
Matrox Mura IPX - 4K IP Multiviewer
Matrox Mura IPX 4K IP decode and display PCI Express cards offer a platform for OEMs and system builders to create high-quality, high-density IP-based multiviewers and personal video walls. With four DisplayPort outputs capable of powering four 4K displays, the Mura IPX decode and display card is capable of displaying a multitude of streams on-effectively-an 8K wall; ideal for control rooms, security situations, digital signage, stream review, and other applications requiring high-density decode and display.
Matrox VS4Recorder Pro - Multi-Camera Recording App
VS4Recorder Pro is designed for use with Matrox VS4 quad HD capture cards. Each VS4Recorder Pro system can frame-accurately capture up to four SDI video signals with 8 channels of embedded audio per input to create files for use with popular editing apps from Adobe , Apple and Avid or for storage and archiving. H.264 is provided in either MOV or MP4 wrappers. AVI files can be created using the high-quality Matrox MPEG 2 I-Frame codec. MOV QuickTime files can be created using DV, DVCPRO, DVCPRO50 and DVCPRO HD. VS4Recorder Pro also functions as a multiviewer, offering pristine video quality even when monitoring interlaced sources on progressive computer monitors. VS4-based systems are also ideal for multi-camera live production streaming with Telestream Wirecast for Windows .
