Breakrough Entertainment unveils pair of educational series for kids at MIP-TV

Science Max: Experiments at Large and Sports Lab to Debut in Canada on TVOKids

For MIP-TV 2015:

TORONTO/CANNES (April 6, 2015) - Breakthrough Entertainment focuses on educational kids content with the debut of two all-new kids' series at MIP-TV: Science Max: Experiments at Large (13X30) and Sports Lab (13X30). Developed in association with TVO, both live-action series will premiere in Ontario, Canada on the educational media organization combining excitement and education for kids.

Hosted by award-winning Canadian actor, writer, and director Phil McCordic - former kids broadcast executive at TVO and acclaimed showrunner of the Breakthrough Entertainment hit preschool series Zerby Derby - Science Max: Experiments at Large turbo charges table-top experiments that are usually done in the classroom science lab. After demonstrating a small scale experiment and showing the audience how they can do it at home, Phil and his team super-size each experiment through trial and error. As they progress through various stages, Phil and his Science Max' collaborators come up with the best design to make the experiment successful on a totally maxed-out scale! Science Max: Experiments at Large is a production of Breakthrough Entertainment in association with TVOKids.

Also keeping with the focus of fun and learning is Sports Lab, Breakthrough's all-new educational show about the science of sports. The episodes explore various sports by unveiling the scientific elements at work - and the result is a greater understanding and appreciation of how each sport is played. Sports Lab is a production of Riverbank Pictures.
