HP ha reinventado sus mejores ordenadores de sobremesa para responder a las necesidades en cuanto a potencia de computaci n exigidas por los profesionales. Las nuevas estaciones de trabajo HP Z8, Z6 y Z4 est n equipadas con una potencia extrema, seguridad sin precedentes y un dise o innovador, pensado para servir de soporte a unas reas de r pido crecimiento como son la realidad virtual, el aprendizaje autom tico y el dise o avanzado.
Los actuales administradores de TI deben hacer de la seguridad una prioridad. El nuevo portfolio de HP incluye un conjunto completo de capacidades de seguridad como HP SureStart (la primera BIOS auto-reparable de la industria con detecci n de intrusiones) o HP Client Security Suite. Las Workstations HP Z cuentan con los niveles de seguridad m s altos en la historia; esta generaci n de equipos profesionales desempe a su trabajo con extrema potencia y protege al m ximo los activos de propiedad intelectual.

Cada cent metro de las nuevas estaciones de trabajo ha sido cuidadosamente redise ado. El aspecto se ha actualizado por completo, incorporando nuevas t cnicas y los materiales m s avanzados para crear un equipo potente para las profesiones.
Las nuevas workstation est n equipadas con Thunderbolt 3 (opcional) y puertos Dual 1GbE (est ndar) para soportar la transferencia de datos de alto ancho de banda demandada por los usuarios actuales y los futuros, as como el soporte de Microsoft Windows 76 para flujos de trabajo heredados. Cada uno de ellos ofrece IO frontal modular con puertos USB 3.1 G2 tipo C. Los modelos Z8 y Z6 admiten hasta dos CPUs y un m dulo de red dual opcional de 10 GbE para redes de alta velocidad a la mitad del coste que las actuales estaciones de trabajo HP, y sin ocupar una ranura de expansi n PCIe.
La nueva workstation HP Z8 G4 tiene la capacidad de ejecutar las simulaciones m s complejas y procesar cantidades masivas de datos. Los usuarios pueden ejecutar simulaciones 3D y editar v deo en 8K en tiempo real con hasta 56 n cleos de procesamiento y 3 TB de memoria principal, tres veces la capacidad de su predecesor4. Este equipo est certificado para ejecutar potentes software como ANSYS o After Effects5, con el fin de que los usuarios puedan entregar sus trabajos creativos en menos tiempo.
La Workstation insignia de HP tiene un aspecto renovado con conductos que permiten la refrigeraci n de la segunda CPU en lugar de reciclar el aire caliente expulsado de los conductos de la primera CPU. Asimismo cuenta con el dise o m s avanzado de los expertos en fabricaci n de ordenadores de alta gama.
La novedosa arquitectura del chasis dividido con el que cuenta permite el acceso posterior a la robusta fuente de alimentaci n de 1700W con un mecanismo de bloqueo, 24 DIMM y un total de 9 ranuras PCIe (7 ranuras PCIe de longitud total y dos ranuras PCIe internas personalizables) tan codiciado en tareas especializadas. La torre HP Z8 tiene un 67 por ciento m s de memoria, un 27 por ciento m s rendimiento del procesador, un ancho de banda de E/S PCIe 40 por ciento mayor y una fuente de alimentaci n un 29 por ciento mayor que la Z840 para los clientes que ejecutan las cargas de trabajo m s exigentes.
La Workstation HP Z6 G4 est dise ada teniendo en cuenta las necesidades siempre cambiantes de los artistas de efectos visuales. Soporta los ltimos gr ficos profesionales, 384 GB de memoria RAM y ranuras M.2 para los usuarios de discos duros PCIe SSD de HP Z Turbo Drive, de modo que pueden experimentar un rendimiento sin fisuras en los efectos visuales y cargas de trabajo de visualizaci n de dise os.
Esta nueva workstation ofrece una experiencia de dise o altamente modular con opciones como un segundo procesador y una soluci n de almacenamiento de memoria para que los usuarios puedan duplicar su capacidad de c mputo de forma r pida y sencilla. La estaci n de trabajo HP Z6 tiene hasta 1,5 veces la cantidad total de memoria del sistema, un 67 por ciento m s de ancho de banda de memoria, un 27 por ciento m s de capacidad de conteo de n cleos de procesador y un 22 por ciento m s de ancho de banda PCIe E/S para los clientes que contaban con la Z640.
La workstation HP Z4 G4 es la nueva generaci n de las estaciones de trabajo m s vendida de HP y ha sido redise ada de arriba a abajo. Este nuevo equipo cuenta con un ecosistema adelantado a su tiempo con m s funciones est ndar y con opciones de actualizaciones de rendimiento nunca antes disponibles en una estaci n de trabajo HP de un solo procesador.
