The FOR-A HVS-390HS 1 M/E - 2 M/E vision mixer has officially passed tests that assure its integration with Mosart automation. As Mosart automation is deployed with newsrooms and broadcasters, this compatibility offers users a proven interface designed to simplify and enhance operation.

With a growing number of newsrooms making use of Mosart automation and the capabilities of the cost-effective FOR-A HVS-390HS vision mixer, Gunnar Steinarsson, Project & Support at Mosart, believed that integrating the two could create a powerful news package. Visiting FOR-A's UK office, he ran tests to check the mixer's control interface for its compatibility with Mosart. I put the HVS-390HS through our emulation program and it worked perfectly, straight out of the box. We are pleased that we can now offer the Mosart software to existing and potential FOR-A switcher customers with the 100% certainly the pieces will match.

About Mosart The idea of Mosart was conceived in 2002 at TV 2 Norway by enthusiastic and professional news directors, producers and editors, all with a vision of simplifying the many tasks of controlling the news broadcast production chain, to improve the channel look and feel, de-risk the operation by eliminating operational errors, and offering the opportunity to control a news channel with a single operator where appropriate, thereby reducing costs.
The first enterprise-scale application was launched on air in January 2007, used on the new national news channel of TV 2 TV 2 Nyhetskanalen . The ease of use, ability to control last-minute changes and unlimited support for editors and producers needs was an instant hit with the production crew. All of these features were delivered by one operator via an intuitive control dashboard, saving many man-hours.
The company Mosart Medialab AS was founded in May 2007, and remains a wholly owned subsidiary of TV 2 media group Norway.
