ENDEMOL UNVEILS FORMAT HIGHLIGHTS FOR MIPCOM 2013 Endemol, the world's largest independent production company, today announced a line-up of entertainment format highlights from around the world for MIPCOM 2013. From Endemol Spain is The Band Rules (Uno de Los Nuestros) - a brand new talent format that searches for the ultimate lead singer, which will launch on TVE later this year. Tense audition rounds see amateur singers given just 20 seconds to impress the show's 14 piece band, each of whom will put down their instrument if they don't like what they hear. If more than half stop playing then the singer is eliminated. The remaining contestants must prove to a panel of judges that they have the versatility and charisma to be the country's best all-round entertainer.
From Endemol UK, Undo Me is a contemporary twist on the makeover format, which uncovers a multitude of bizarre, shocking and sometimes hilarious stories of people regretting their body beautification decisions. Highly experienced practitioners help undo' the ill-judged procedures but for all those that regret their bodywork; there are many determined to make a dramatic change - whether a shocking tattoo or a breast enlargement. Before they go ahead they are forced to think again when they meet someone already on the road to reversal. Can they be persuaded not to do it? Undo Me launches in the UK this autumn on Channel 4.
Endemol USA's brand new comedic game show Wall of Fame will be returning to Cannes ahead of its forthcoming launch in the US on NBC. One family can win big money by correctly answering trivia questions and then identifying which celebrity on the wall of fame' also got it right. The celebrities' answers are sometimes surprising, sometimes impressive and often hilarious.
Also returning to Cannes having launched at MIPTV 2013 are Endemol Italy's fast paced hit daily game show Next One; Germany's ultimate physical and mental challenge formats The Brain and Unbeatable, and Endemol Netherlands' reality hit Grading Mom and Dad; all of which have sold internationally with new deals due to be announced soon.
