NANGU.TV APPOINTS PETR HAVEL AS PRODUCT MANAGER AND JIRI HUBERT AS PROJECT MANAGER 24 Sep 2013
nangu.TV, the pioneering media platform provider for IPTV and OTT services, has announced further key appointments at its Prague-based headquarters. Petr Havel joins the company as Product Manager and Ji Hubert as Project Manager. The last 12 months has seen nangu.TV make significant investment in key staff to support its growing customer base.
Havel has many years' experience at product and project management level. His previous role saw him creating and managing system architecture and software engineering in the telecoms sector. Prior to joining nangu.TV he held the position of Internal Product Manager at Acision. Joining Acision in 2007 he quickly gained experience working across a number of high level projects. At nangu.TV he will be responsible for the continued development of the nangu.TV platform as well as overseeing the production and launch of new applications.
Commenting on his appointment Havel says, I'm delighted to join nangu.TV at this exciting time. The industry has seen so many changes in recent years, with more opportunities for operators and third-parties to deliver new and exciting applications to customers. nangu.TV is at the forefront of this growth and we look forward to announcing new developments in the near future.
Hubert also joins nangu.TV from Acision in Prague where he managed software development projects for global mobile phone operators. Prior to joining Acision he held the position of System Engineer DVB-RCS (satellite data network) at Satlynx in Germany. Speaking about his new appointment Hubert says, This is a very interesting industry to join and I'm really looking forward to the fresh challenges and new projects that this new position will bring.
nangu.TV provides a highly flexible white label service to operators that eliminates the need for investment in complex back-end infrastructure and enables services to be deployed far more quickly. There's the additional ability to tailor its products to suit a wide range of customer needs. The company's end-to-end IPTV and OTT platform provides a complete solution that allows ISP, cable, mobile and hospitality TV service providers to deliver value-add additional features including: non-linear TV, VoD, triple-screen and mobile applications. nangu.TV's open system allows third-parties to directly integrate via its published APIs.
