TAG Video Systems appoint new US sales directors Ryhaan Williams and Trevor Skogsbergh Tel Aviv-based TAG Video Systems has announced that Ryhaan Williams and Trevor Skogsbergh have both joined the company as directors of sales, Americas. Kevin Joyce, TAG's Zer0 Friction officer, said that the new hires bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the company and will help to further strengthen its ability to reach, maintain and support its US customer base.
The pace of change occurring in the media and entertainment technology space requires deep understanding of the clients' business requirements and how to provide the best quality of service scale, said Joyce. With a proven track record of client trust and numerous achievements, both Ryhaan and Trevor expand TAG's ability to support our clients, helping them design the future workflows required to deliver the world's highest quality content in the most efficient manner. Their expertise and industry knowledge will play a vital role in expanding our market reach and ensuring our customers receive the highest level of support.

Veset announces support for SMPTE 2022-7 in Veset Nimbus Veset has added support for SMPTE 2022-7 in the latest update to its cloud-based playout solution, Veset Nimbus.
SMPTE 2022-7 allows users to transport multiple media streams, including audio and video, over an internet protocol (IP), and is designed for use in broadcast and professional media production environments, allowing for users to effectively manage the timing of media streams.
The new standard will allow for substantial scalability and security within Veset Nimbus. Levelling up in sophistication and experience, the new standard will introduce a new era of professional and seamless playout development, explained CEO, Gatis Gailis.
Paul Morini joins Clear-Com Meanwhile, Clear-Com has announced the arrival of Paul Morini as regional sales manager for the Southeast region of the US. Morini was most recently national touring sound accounts manager at Avid Technology, and brings more than 25 years of experience in technical sales management roles in the audio business.
Paul Morini brings impressive industry sales experience to this role, explained Michael Rucker, director of sales for the Americas. With his problem-solving skills and hands-on customer approach, we know he will have an immediate impact and contribution to cultivating new customers and effectively serving our existing customer base across different market verticals in the region.
Morini added, Clear-Com is such a customer-focused company, and I have a great deal of respect for the way the company operates. Its dedication and commitment to customers and quality is unmatched and I appreciate this new opportunity to expand the Clear-Com brand in the region.
Genelec signs APAC distribution deal with Broadcast Professional Gary Goh (L) and Genelec's Siam k Naghian Professional loudspeaker and studio monitor specialist Genelec has appointed Broadcast Professional as its new distribution partner for Singapore and Malaysia, with responsibility for Genelec's entire range of studio products across the two territories.
