After months of anticipation, the cast of Love & Hip Hop SA' has finally been revealed.

But, according to Twitter, Mzansi is not so eager to tune in and watch.

MZANSI'S TWEEPS HAVE MIXED FEELINGS ABOUT LOVE AND HIP HOP' Twitter's reaction to the upcoming release of SA's own Love & Hip Hop' series at the end of the month is maybe not exactly what the producers are hoping for.

According to MTV Africa, the show will follow the lives of eight South African hip-hop stars as they navigate daily life, love, the local music industry, and family dynamics. The show will consist of 13 jam-packed episodes and feature artists, including Da L.E.S, Shane Eagle, and Fifi Cooper, EWN reports.

TWITTER NOT SURE ABOUT NEW SHOW Although the American franchise racks up hundreds and thousands of viewers, South African Tweeps feel that it's perhaps not the right time for a show like Love and Hip Hop SA'.

Some don't like the cast, while others feel that the show won't be interesting enough.

Lol, looking at the #LoveAndHipHopSA cast and I wouldn't say they all fell off. Hip Hop is not exactly dominating mainstream music at the moment, but we can't say Shane Eagle and Yanga Chief fell off.

Love & Hip Hop has been rated as one of the most watched and unscripted franchises in pay television history, EWN reports.

The show will premiere on 27 February, on MTV Africa (DStv Channel 130) at 21h00 CAT.
