This will be the first polo national of contained digital in Malaga The old Real factory of tobaccos of Malaga will host an innovative Center of 6,000 m2 destined to host companies and professional of the sector audiovisual, video games, software and new technologies.

Mario Cortes, Lieutenant of Mayor responsible for innovation and new technologies at the Town Hall of Malaga presented on the second day of this World Summit on Ultra high definition and audiovisual technology, 4 K-UHD Summit held at the end of the pass in Seville, the new Digital Polo in Malaga.

This ambitious project, that will open their doors in few months and by which the City Council has made a strong bet, will have with students, professional of the photography, the sector audiovisual, video games, software, the architecture... The pole will be located on the former Royal tobacco factory in Malaga and will have more than 6,000 square meters dedicated to the development of digital content and innovative activities.

Mario Cort s has State accompanied by Antonio Quir s, Director Executive of Promalaga, the company municipal that will be the responsible of put up the Polo Digital. Promalaga will take care of support the project with improvements in the platform digitalmalaga.comcoordinate mechanisms for consulting services and foster the dynamism of a project that aims to train new professionals as well as attract and create new businesses in the field of the digital industry.

Some of the companies that will occupy the Polo Digital of Malaga already have shown their services in the 4 K-UHD Summit. Is the case of VR Arcade, a company Malaga pioneer actually virtual that has State present these two days in Seville teaching their projects and inviting to those assistants to experience with their products.

He project provides a hub of companies that is set as a center of promotion of the sector of contained digital, equipped technologically in which is will be performances of development of content to the service of the well common, of it improves of them conditions of life, the accessibility and the participation digital, as well as of them processes of analysis of data, the promotion of the talent entrepreneurship, growth, consolidation and internationalization of the industry of Digital economy in Malaga.

It will be composed of an incubator and various rooms and laboratories equipped with the latest technology in 3D animation, computer and graphic design to provide mentoring, internationalization and acceleration of capital for companies, cooperative, citizen groups or associations that will have access to spaces equipped with technological equipment and the training that is provided.

The training in economy digital and aimed to promote the innovation and the entrepreneurship will play also a role key in this project.
