TBS to be Exclusive Home of the American League Throughout 2018 MLB Postseason, Beginning with A.L. Wild Card Game, Wednesday, Oct. 3, at 8 p.m. ET

TBS will be the exclusive home of the American League throughout the 2018 MLB Postseason, beginning with the American League Wild Card presented by Hankook Tire - Oakland Athletics vs. New York Yankees - Wednesday, Oct. 3, at 8 p.m. ET. The As and MVP candidates Khris Davis and Matt Chapman will visit the Yankees and sluggers Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton, with the winner moving on to play the A.L. East Champion Boston Red Sox. Brian Anderson (play-by-play) will be joined by veteran MLB on TBS analysts Ron Darling and Dennis Eckersley and reporter Lauren Shehadi to call the A.L. Wild Card Game.

The MLB Postseason Pre-Game Show on TBS presented by The Chrysler Pacifica will begin the networks postseason coverage at 7 p.m., featuring Hall of Famer Pedro Martinez, nine-time All-Star Gary Sheffield and former NL MVP Jimmy Rollins joining host Casey Stern for their third postseason together. The studio team will also offer postgame analysis on The Postseason Show on TBS.

A L D S & A L C S N O T E S

The networks exclusive coverage of the American League Division Series (ALDS) presented by T-Mobile will begin Friday, Oct. 5, with the MLB Postseason Pre-Game Show on TBS presented by The Chrysler Pacifica ahead of game coverage.

In one ALDS, division champions will meet in a matchup featuring the two most recent American League pennant winners - Cleveland Indians and the dynamic duo of Jose Ramirez and Francisco Lindor vs. the defending World Series Champion Houston Astros and stars Jose Altuve, Alex Bregman, Carlos Correa and George Springer. Don Orsillo will be joined by Eckersley and reporter Hazel Mae to call the Indians/Astros series.

In the other ALDS on TBS, the Boston Red Sox and Cy Young candidate Chris Sale will face the winner of the A.L. Wild Card Game. Anderson will call play-by-play for the Red Sox series alongside Darling and reporter Shehadi.

TBS will also exclusively televise the American League Championship Series (ALCS), beginning Saturday, Oct. 13, with Game 1 of the best-of-seven series.

The ALCS will be called by Anderson and Darling for the second consecutive year, with Shehadi reporting.

As Turners Ernie Johnson shared in this video message, he will not be able to contribute to TBSs MLB Postseason coverage this year. His next scheduled appearance will be tomorrows NBA on TNT preseason coverage.

P R O D U C T I O N N O T E S

TBSs coverage will bring fans close to the sounds of the game with enhanced audio via base microphones for every A.L. Postseason game.

The networks game coverage will also include StatCast by Amazon Web Services integration, analyzing player movements and highlighting batted ball data to give fans a greater understanding of the incredible athleticism and skill of the games best players and teams.

TBS will also feature an expanded Pitch Cast strike zone overlay throughout October, featuring a new four corners look to be less obtrusive for fans.

In addition to its exclusive live game telecasts on TBS and live simulcast streaming on TBS.com and the Watch TBS app, Turner Sports will provide fans with digital companion coverage via B/R Live.

B/R Live will offer baseball fans the ability to watch each teams batting practice ahead of every game televised by TBS during the MLB Postseason.

B/R Live is accessible via desktop and mobile through the official app for supported iOS and Android smartphones.

L I V E S T R E A M I N G

Live streaming coverage of all MLB Postseason games airing on TBS will be available via www.tbs.com and the Watch TBS app.

Fans will be able to access the games whenever and wherever they desire by logging in with the user name and password provided by their TV service provider.

Additionally, all MLB on TBS Postseason game telecasts will be available in Spanish via SAP.
