February 15, 2024 - Netflix announced today that The Netflix Slam will stream live globally on Sunday, March 3 at 12:30pm PT / 9:30pm CET at the Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, where 22-time Grand Slam men's singles title champion Rafael Nadal will face off against World No. 2 and fellow Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz. The Netflix Slam, hosted by MGM Resorts International and produced by Full Day Productions, will be available in both Spanish and English. The live global tennis event will be sponsored by renowned skincare brand La Roche-Posay.
Joining The Slam for on and off court commentary and play-by-play analysis are tennis greats Andre Agassi, Andy Roddick, Jim Courier, Mary Joe Fern ndez and Patrick McEnroe, as well as tennis analyst Prakash Amritraj and host Kay Adams. For Spanish markets, tennis favorites Feliciano L pez and David Ferrer will be calling the shots.
Netflix is the premier home for great sports stories with hits like Formula 1: Drive To Survive, Full Swing, NASCAR: Full Speed, Untold, Quarterback, Tour de France: Unchained, Under Pressure: The U.S. Women's World Cup Team, Six Nations: Full Contact and more. Netflix has partnered with sports leagues including Formula 1, National Football League (NFL), the PGA TOUR, Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), Womens Tennis Association (WTA), F d ration internationale de football association (FIFA), World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), Major League Baseball (MLB) and more.
The Netflix Slam will be produced by Full Day Productions (Connor Schell and David Chamberlin), the company behind The Netflix Cup, ESPY Awards, the Oscars Red Carpet Show and the NFL Honors.
