Instant Audio have announced the launch of a new multi-effects plug-in designed to deliver studio-quality vocal processing while meeting the demands of live performance. Released in partnership with United Plugins, QuickVox includes a powerful selection of built-in effects while maintaining low latency and requiring minimal CPU usage.

The plug-in features three independent virtual racks that are each capable of hosting up to five effects modules, each of which is kitted out with three simple controls. This allows users to create different effects chains for different songs or sections, and then switch between them instantly using either the GUI or remotely using an external MIDI controller - when operating the plug-in directly from the GUI, there's a dedicated Live Mode that transforms the plug-in into three large buttons for ease of access.

Built-in processors include eight types of distortion that range from Tube and Tape modes to more aggressive-sounding Fold and Amp variants, along with a selection of modulation effects such as a chorus, tremolo, flanger and phaser. Some time-based effects are included, too, with a set of delays joined by 12 reverb types that span from intimate rooms and chambers to larger halls and cathedral emulations. a Mixing section then offers access to Gate, Leveller, De-esser, EQ and Compressor processors, while more creative effects are provided by an SFX collection that includes Vocoder, Autotune, Comb Filter and Ring Modulator modules.

Pricing & Availability QuickVox is available now, and is being offered at an introductory price of £16 / 19$22 until the end of July 2025, when it will increase to its full price of £68 / 79$91. GBP Prices include VAT.
