Under f rra ret genererade svenska artister utbetalningar p n stan 1,8 miljarder kronor enbart fr n Spotify - en kning med drygt tolv procent j mf rt med 2022 och en dubblering j mf rt med 2017.
Statistiken visar ven att musikbranschen forts tter att blomstra - p alla niv er. Under 2023 genererade fler n 500 svenska artister minst 500 000 kronor i royalties bara fr n Spotify. Antalet artister som n r denna niv har kat med 70 procent sedan 2017. Dessutom genererade ver 280 svenska artister mer n en miljon kronor fr n plattformen, vilket inneb r en kning med n stan tv tredjedelar sedan 2018.

Sverige r en erk nd musikexportnation, men svenska artister dominerar ven p hemmaplan, vilket kraftigt bidrar till kade int kter till den svenska musikindustrin. Under 2023 stod inhemska artister bakom 70 procent av alla l tar som tog sig in p den dagliga Topp 50-listan.
