United World Wrestling selects SlomoTv as video arbitration system Para este proyecto, SlomoTv modific su sistema VideoReferee-SR, dise ado ahora para trabajar con 8 c maras HD, a adiendo la capacidad de cubrir dos competiciones independientes con cuatro c maras cada una.
El organismo internacional que rige el deporte de la lucha, United World Wrestling (UWW), ha seleccionado a SlomoTv como su socio tecnol gico para el videoarbitraje en todas sus competiciones.
Con sede en Corsier-sur-Vevey (Suiza), UWW cuenta con representantes de 176 federaciones nacionales y entre sus funciones figura la supervisi n de la lucha en los Juegos Ol mpicos. Preside las competiciones internacionales de diversas formas de lucha, incluida la lucha grecorromana, la lucha libre masculina y femenina, as como otras.
Durante los dos ltimos a os, la UWW ha estado cooperando con SlomoTv en la implementaci n de un sistema de videoarbitraje en sus competiciones internacionales. Hasta la fecha, los sistemas se han desplegado en m s de 20 competiciones mundiales y se utilizar n para el ciclo ol mpico hasta 2024.
Despu s de tomar la decisi n de implementar el video arbitraje, UWW prob los sistemas de varios fabricantes antes de seleccionar VideoReferee-SR. El tama o compacto y el peso ligero del sistema era un factor significativo necesario para el transporte entre las competiciones en muchas partes diferentes del mundo.
Las competiciones grecorromanas, de estilo libre y de lucha femenina tienen caracter sticas nicas, por lo que los requisitos para juzgar por v deo difieren de los de otros deportes, como el hockey sobre hielo, el baloncesto y el balonmano que utilizan esta tecnolog a.
Competiciones simult neas Es frecuente que las competiciones tengan competiciones simult neas, por lo que el sistema de video-referencia necesita cubrir dos espacios de competici n, cada una con cuatro c maras. Como respuesta, SlomoTv modific el sistema VideoReferee-SR, dise ado para trabajar con 8 c maras HD, a adiendo la capacidad de cubrir dos competiciones independientes con cuatro c maras cada una con un servidor compacto 1U.
S bastien Guenat, director del departamento de inform tica de la UWW, se ala que busc bamos soluciones para aumentar la imparcialidad del arbitraje durante los eventos internacionales. United World Wrestling encontr en SlomoTv la soluci n ideal. El aumento del n mero de c maras ( ngulos) le dio a nuestros rbitros una mejor herramienta para tomar la decisi n correcta. Adem s, la estabilidad del software del sistema nos permiti responder al 100% de los retos (repeticiones) solicitados por los entrenadores en los ltimos dos a os .
Desde 2018, la Federaci n Internacional utiliza activamente los sistemas VideoReferee-SR en todas las competiciones internacionales, incluidos los Campeonatos Mundiales Senior y Junior de 2018 y 2019, los Campeonatos Europeos Senior de 2019, los Campeonatos Asi ticos Senior de 2019 y las Copas Mundiales de 2018 y 2019 de lucha grecorromana, estilo libre y femenina.
La experiencia positiva de los usuarios y su comodidad con el equipo durante todo este per odo es un factor clave para la adquisici n de sistemas adicionales: ahora la UWW tiene cinco sistemas de este tipo.
