Sommer Cable at ISE05

(05/02/2015) The well-known SYSDESK line of desk connectionpanels from German manufacturer SOMMER CABLEis getting bigger! These novelties will be shown at theIntegrated Systems Europe 2015 from February10 12 in Amsterdam at the SOMMER CABLE booth(hall 7, booth D172).

New to the series are the retrofittable push-to-liftmechanism, the cable management tray for theSYSDESK09 & SYSFRAME50 desk connection panelsplus the all new, cost-efficient SYSFRAME45 connectionpanels for the integration of SYSWALL45 clip-inmodules, which contain all common connectionsof media engineering with an optimum spacing.

The push-to-lift mechanism can be retrofitted on allSYSDESK models delivered since 2012 and allowsa very comfortable opening of the SYSDESKswivel unit. A simple push on the housing unlocks theinterior part which will come up without any assistanceby electric components. For closing just push the samespot on the swivel unit, until it locks in with an audibleclick. This added value is the perfect complementto SYSDESK connection panels in demandingenvironments.

The cable management tray for the SYSDESK09and SYSFRAME50 desk connection panels combines aneasy and efficient line and cable management with softouter edges and an integrated mounting bracket for thedirect assembly under installed SYSDESK units. Hence noother metal or wood panels are required under the table.

In particular ample wirings of e.g. signal extenders canthus vanish invisibly under the table with the cable tray.

Owing to the optional facility of fixing a multipinconnector to the tray, every conference or seminarroom can now be designed easily in a modular way.The product range of SOMMER CABLE also containssuitable combined cables and matching modularconnectors.

Due to the integration of SYSWALL50 modules (50 x50 mm) for realising all common connections in mediaengineering, the noble SYSFRAME50 connectionpanel made of solid stainless steel is the perfectconnection unit for the commercial sector. Thefold-in function allows to sink the connection areainto the table surface. The two permanentlyinstalled Schuko connectors (feed-in & linkingto other systems via Wieland Gesis CON GST18i3connector) and the fitting of up to 4 SYSWALL50modules open up numerous connection variants. Indetail the SYSFRAME50 convinces by an integratedcable strain relief, s dust protection brush in thecable feed-through slot and an innovative tabletopclampmount (tabletop thickness of 10 100 mm,tabletop cutout size: 344 x 170 mm).

Smart, smarter, SYSFRAME45.

If you wish to combine power, data and mediaconnections in a single compact and cost-efficientinstallation unit, SYSFRAME45 is the way to go. The slimsolid stainless steel frame with its glassbead sandedsurface integrates seamlessly into classrooms, offices orconference halls. There are two different sizes availableto house 4 or 8 mediatechnical connection modules resp.,thus providing flexibility. The optional cable managementtray clears up the mess under the table and allows theinvisible integration of signal extender solutions.

As an option we also offer Schuko connection modules(only German or French/Belgian versions) with touchproofWIELAND GST18i3 connectors which do notrequire an electrician for the installation.

Owing to the innovative clamping technology that fitstabletops of 10 60 mm thickness, the SYSFRAME45connection panel also integrates easily into existingfurniture systems.
