Globo selects Grass Valley Cloud-Based Production Platform to Produce Over 50 Live Sports and Entertainment Events

MONTREAL - April 20, 2022 - Brazilian Mediatech Company Globo has chosen Grass Valleys GV AMPP (Agile Media Processing Platform) to produce and stream over 50 live sports and entertainment events. In 2022, Globo expects to produce over 200 live sports, entertainment and news events using GV AMPP.

AMPP is the first cloud-based SaaS platform for producing live sports, entertainment, and news workflows, helping customers easily transition to public or private cloud-based workflows or hybrid infrastructures.

During the past two years, Globo evaluated vendors and cloud solutions available on the market and AMPP was selected as the broadcaster's core cloud-based workflow production platform.
