The robotic of Robe shines in a new edition of X Factor in United Kingdom The popular talent show for ITV, which this year has been issued for the first time of the LH2 Studios in Park Royal, North West of London, has employed a total of 314 fixtures from Robe with Tim Routledge lighting design.

For the second consecutive year, the robotic of Robe they have played a key role in the issuance of the talent show X Factor in the United Kingdom, highlighting new fixture multipurpose MegaPointe. For six weeks the Tim Routledge lighting designer has created impressive atmospheres that have embraced the contestants of a new edition of the legendary space of ITV that will come to an end next weekend at Wembley Arena.

This time the program has issued for the first time since the LH2 Studios in Park Royal, Northwest of London, and in its production have been used a total of 314 Robe fixtures which include 43 MegaPointes, 112 Spikies, 52 Spiider LED wash beams 37 BMFL sphere with battery Blades, 34 of the new LEDBeam 150s, 35 onePATT and a RoboSpot BMFL sphere with battery.

The stage also included various LED displays with a strong presence of video that defined the entire space. The new creative team of The Squared Division together with the Director Julia Knowles wanted to give a feeling of immersion to the show, so 3 mm high-definition LED screens offered a broad and seemingly continuous, look with some discreet interruptions that were filled with lighting hidden.

A channel under the main screen and the small gaps between surfaces LED were the starting points for the design of illumination of Tim. Its objective was to maintain the hardware largely hidden, but carefully positioned striking a perfect balance between lighting and video screens.

In addition, this year have included 48 units of Robe Halos for the fifth week, when they were used in the performance of the Irish brothers Sean and Conor Price, who performed their own version of the Jimi Hendrix classic All Along The Watchtower.

As soon as Tim Routledge first saw first at beginning of year the new MegaPointe was "truly impressed with its possibilities as a Swiss army knife of light".

On stage, this year provided a a large circular screen, with twenty MegaPointes rigged around the perimeter, while the other 23 were distributed around the main lighting platform.

The brightness and the MegaPointe massive functionality helped evoke the dynamics and diversity of "domestic" lighting system, since Tim and programmer / operator Tom Young kept relentlessly new appearances as the series unfolded.

Por su parte, los Spikies se instalaron en los huecos entre las pantallas permitiendo una gran cantidad de escenas y looks geniales. En algunas secciones del set, se alternaron con pares de tungsteno de skool antiguo. Otros dispositivos como Spiiders y LEDBeam 150 se colocaron estrat gicamente y se optimizaron para tomar im genes de fondo y en primer plano de X Factor.
