One of the highlights of Globos 06 catalog reaches Mozambique

Featuring a star-studded cast, Ambitious Women' has already been licensed to air in Portugal and Uruguay, and is now scheduled to premiere in the free-to-air channel STV in June

After airing in Portugal and Uruguay, Ambitious Women' now ventures into Mozambique the telenovela is one of Globo's highlights in the 2016 Budapest Natpe. Featuring a provoking and visceral plot, Ambitious Women' will be aired in STV the country's main public TV network. The telenovela is scheduled to premier in June, in the network's Prime Time. STV has invested in Globo's productions for decades and was one of the Brazilian network's first partners in Africa, already airing other hits such as Brave Woman' and Trail of Lies'.

The leading role is played by Adriana Esteves ( Brazil Avenue'), Gl ria Pires ( Irrational Heart'), and Camila Pitanga ( Side by Side', winner of the 2013 Emmy). These three strong and ambitious women are driven by different reasons to fight real battles in a story of power plays, blackmail, and justice, in order to achieve their goals.

In the story, Beatriz (Gl ria Pires) is a wealthy woman who seems to have everything she needs, but follows a path without rules and a relentless hunger for power. In s (Adriana Esteves), with a character just as questionable as Beatriz, cultivates a mixture of envy and fascination for the former friend since her adolescence. Her hatred and lust for revenge are motivated by the certainty that her rival is guilty of her father's death, with whom Beatriz had an affair in the past. On the other hand, the humble and dreamer Regina (Camila Pitanga) is the heroine of the plot. She struggles to achieve her goals, such as finding out who murdered her father, without resorting to sabotaging anyone's plans.

The cast of Ambitious Women' also features talents such as Fernanda Montenegro ( Passione'), Thiago Fragoso ( Trail of Lies'), and Bruno Gagliasso ( Merciless').
