Information TV strengens technology partnership with Arqiva

Information TV has chosen our hybrid TV-Internet solution, Connected Broadcaster, to boost its broadcast communications capabilities. The TV services business has been working with us its technology partner of choice for the past three years to evolve its offering into a complete, end-to-end broadcast solution for its customers.

With new platforms and technologies opening up more opportunities for organisations looking to establish a presence on broadcast television, a growing portion of Information TV's business lies in incubating new television propositions for niche market segments, which might otherwise struggle to start up on a dedicated channel.

Providing a full range of services from ingest, storage, play-out and scheduling to a technical back office Information TV is already running channels for the likes of Irish TV and the Property Channel, and plans to launch a number of new ones over the coming months including those for arts, sports and children's TV.

Our new hybrid IP TV solution, Connected Broadcaster, will be demoed on-stand 1.B61 at this year's IBC conference, from 10 to 15 September.
