Jay Dishong Joins Vitec Videocom as VP Channel Sales, Americas

Vitec Videocom has appointed Jay Dishong as Vice President, Channel Sales for the Americas. Dishong will be based from Shelton Connecticut, where he will have responsibility for continued development and execution of the organization's channel partner structure across the US, Canada and Latin America.

Dishong joins from Sony where he enjoyed a career spanning more than 20 years. During his time at Sony he moved from technical camera repair through sales and regional management roles, and most recently held the role of Vice President for Channel Sales.

He will report directly to George Kealy, Senior Vice President for Global Sales, Service and Training at Vitec Videocom. Kealy commented: We're thrilled to have Jay joining our global team. He brings with him a tremendous amount of industry and channel knowledge which I'm confident will translate into the continuous growth of our business as we continue our focus on improving customer service levels.

Dishong added: I'm delighted to be joining the Vitec Videocom team and to have the opportunity to lead the Channel Sales team across my territory. Having operated in the broadcast sector - one of Vitec Videocom's core markets - for many years, I have strong knowledge of the business' brands and will be proud to be a part of the team.

Away from the office, Dishong is a fine golfer and enjoys skiing.
