Schaeffler Ideenfahrzeug E-Wheel Drive misst sich im Wettbewerb mit Serienfahr-zeugen auf der 4. Silvretta E-Auto im Montafon
Silvretta E-Auto Rallye Schaeffler punktet mit Radnabenantrieb
Im Wettbewerb mit anderen Elektro-Autos hat sich das Schaeffler-Ideenfahrzeug Fiesta E-Wheel Drive auf der bereits zum vierten mal ausgetragenen Silvretta E-Auto Rallye im sterreichischen Montafon behauptet. Der Erprobungstr ger mit innovativen elektrischen Radnabenantrieben wurde in Kooperation mit Ford auf Basis eines Ford Fiesta realisiert. Bei der E-Rallye ging es auf drei Tagesetappen im Hochgebirge darum, mit Kilowatt, Volt und Ampere gut hauszuhalten, um Strafpunkte zu vermeiden und mit ausreichender Batterieladung das Ziel zu erreichen. Bei dem Schaeffler Radnabenantrieb E-Wheel Drive handelt es sich noch um ein Vorentwicklungsprojekt des Automobilzulieferers gemeinsam mit Ford. Doch bei der Tour durch die Alpen konnte er im Feld der mitunter bereits in Serie befindlichen Elektrofahrzeuge mithalten.
F r Schaeffler ging es darum, weitere Erkenntnisse zum Entwicklungsstand unseres f r zuk nftige elektrische Stadtfahrzeuge gedachten Antriebs zu erfahren , erkl rt Prof. Peter Gutzmer, Schaeffler Vorstand f r Forschung und Entwicklung. Wir haben mit dem Erprobungstr ger bei der Silvretta E-Auto Rallye drei problemlose Tage absolvieren k nnen und das bei einem durchaus f r Elektrofahrzeuge anspruchsvollen Terrain mit langen und steilen Anstiegen, aber auch Abfahrten zum Energie-Rekuperieren, ein wesentlicher Vorteil, den E-Fahrzeuge bieten.
Angetrieben wird der Fiesta eWheel Drive mittels zweier in den hinteren Radh usern platzierten hochintegrierten Radnabenantrieben. Dabei finden s mtliche f r Antrieb, Verz gerung und Fahrsicherheit notwendigen Bauelemente wie Elektromotor, Leistungselektronik und Controller, Bremse sowie K hlung Platz innerhalb der Felgen. Die technischen Eckdaten liegen bei bis zu 40 kW pro Antrieb, beziehungsweise einer Dauerleistung von zweimal 33 kW. Das entspricht in traditioneller Lesart bis zu 110, beziehungsweise 90 Pferdest rken. Dabei liefert der fl ssigkeits-gek hlte Radnabenantrieb ein Drehmoment von bis zu 700 Nm. Die elektrische Spannung des Hochvoltantriebs betr gt 360 - 420 Volt.
Das B-Segment-Fahrzeug dient als Erprobungstr ger. Vollends ihre St rken k nnen Radnabenantriebe indes erst in neuen Fahrzeugkonzepten ausspielen , erl utert Prof. Peter Gutzmer, der sich bei der E-Rallye das Cockpit mit Prof. Pim van der Jagt, Managing Director Ford Research & Advanced Engineering Europe, teilte. Erst der hochintegrierte Radnabenantrieb erm glicht es, das Stadtauto neu und v llig frei zu denken, so Prof. Peter Gutzmer. Dieser Antrieb ist zuk nftig ein Schl ssel f r neue Fahrzeugkonzepte und Automobilplattformen. F r urban genutzte Elektrofahrzeuge, wie sie in einigen Ballungsr umen obligatorisch werden k nnen, schafft der Radnabenantrieb eine mit dem Verbrennungsmotor nicht erreichbare ungekannte Raum konomie. Bei diesen neuartigen Fahrzeugkonzepten sind alle f r Vortrieb, Bremsen und Fahrsicherheit relevanten Bauteile im Rad untergebracht. In der Fahrzeugplattform bleibt damit der maximale Platz f r Passagiere, Gep ck sowie Batterie, Elektronik und Kommunikation.
