Stephen Mulhern will be back travelling the UK as In For A Penny is commissioned for a second series and Christmas Special.

ITV has commissioned ITV Studios and Mitre Television to produce a second series and a Christmas Special of the popular on the street gameshow, In For A Penny.

Host Stephen Mulhern will once again be let loose in towns and cities across the UK challenging the Great British public to take part in a series of hilariously silly games.

Nowhere is safe as Stephen will pop up at a host of brand new locations all over the UK asking shoppers for a penny to take part - there is no contactless on this show.

The people of Great Britain beware, Stephen could be heading to your town - are you ready to open your suitcases, get soaked with water or balance fruit and veg on your body in the hope of winning a cash prize? The world famous stop watch game' will also be making a return giving shoppers the chance to bag £1000.

Stephen Mulhern said: It's humbling to know that people enjoyed watching the show as much as we enjoyed making it. We met some incredible people on the first series and I can't wait to get back out on the streets of the UK meeting the great British public and challenging them to take part in some silly games. It's the best job in the world.

In For A Penny is a ITV Studios and Mitre Television co-production for ITV. The series has been commissioned by Siobhan Greene, ITV's Head of Entertainment, and Louise Major, Assistant Commissioner, Entertainment ITV. The executive producers are Pete Ogden and Tim Dean, ITV Studios.
