AMAZON S LOVEFiLM CONTINUES TO EXPAND KIDS CONTENT

Thomas & Friends, Fireman Sam & Chuggington amongst fan favourites arriving on service

LOVEFiLM, an Amazon company, has today bolstered its selection of kids' content with the addition of iconic TV shows such as Thomas & Friends, Fireman Sam and Chuggington to the service, whilst retaining the streaming rights for other classic characters such as He-Man and Postman Pat.

Made possible through three new deals with leading independent children's entertainment producers HIT Entertainment, Ludorum and DreamWorks Classics, members now have more choice of child-friendly content than ever before, including a number of exclusive special episodes unavailable to stream anywhere else.

Through the deal with HIT Entertainment, LOVEFiLM - the film and TV streaming service - has added popular programmes such as Pingu, Where's Wally, Bob the Builder and Kipper, alongside over 50 episodes of Thomas & Friends - including a variety of first-run exclusive feature length movies featuring the little blue engine, such as Blue Mountain Mystery , Misty Island Rescue and Day of the Diesels .

Members can now also follow the exciting, action-packed adventures of Wilson, Brewster and Koko, as Chuggington arrives from Ludorum and becomes available to stream for the first time and exclusively on LOVEFiLM. This hugely popular kids' show sees the trainees ride the rails through the world of Chuggington and take on challenges that test their courage, speed and determination.

These great kids' characters are the latest additions to the LOVEFiLM streaming catalogue that already features many fan favourites, including Rupert Bear, Postman Pat and Casper the Friendly Ghost - all of which have been retained by LOVEFiLM through a new deal with DreamWorks Classics.

This content deal also includes renewals of popular animated series Transylvanian Pet Shop, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Noddy in Toyland, and many more.

During 2013, parents from around the UK named LOVEFiLM the top film and TV streaming service for families, with nine in ten users (89 per cent) of parenting website Netmums - the UK's biggest source of parenting advice and information - stating it is best in class for kids' entertainment due to its high quality content, value for money and lack of adverts.
