Cada diciembre iHeartRadio organiza su anual Jingle Ball Tour, que viaja a once ciudades de Estados Unidos presentando a los artistas m s solicitados del a o. Para llevar la experiencia de m sica en vivo con actuaciones de Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, The Chainsmokers y muchos otros artistas la productora VER proporciona soporte AV con un amplio despliegue de soluciones de AJA como Ki Pro, FS2 y sus miniconversores.
El equipo de video de nueve personas de VER est dirigido por EIC Jason Harvey, quien ha trabajado en esta gira durante los ltimos tres a os. El sistema de video port til de la gira incluye cinco c maras Sony HDX-100 y admite seis canales de reproducci n que, junto con una transmisi n en vivo del concierto en el estadio, tambi n lanzan videos y spots intersticiales, identificaciones de marca y gr ficos en movimiento anunciando pr ximos actos. Todas las se ales procedentes de c mara se graban en AJA Ki Pro Racks y el audio se embebe con AJA FS2. Durante los conciertos, el equipo de fondo de iHeart Media edita las secuencias para compartirlas en la red iHeartRadio y en los canales de video despu s de cada show.
Este tour exige equipos confiables que ofrezcan la mejor calidad de audio y video, porque no hay margen de error a este ritmo acelerado , dijo Harvey. Siempre volvemos a los productos de AJA para obtener una grabaci n, conversi n y reproducci n confiable de video y audio: son s lidos como una roca y hacen el trabajo siempre .
Durante cada concierto, Harvey est a cargo de monitorear las c maras en vivo y las transmisiones con correcci n de color en tiempo real. Tambi n supervisa la decena de Ki Pro para asegurarse de que est n grabando y recibiendo informaci n de audio precisa. Las demandas de cada concierto var an, y confiamos en Ki Pro Rack por la confiabilidad y flexibilidad que ofrecen los dispositivos , se al Harvey, Usamos muchas porque a veces necesitamos tres versiones de la misma alimentaci n de c mara enviada a tres editores diferentes que trabajan en el metraje simult neamente. Adem s de lo que se capta en cada espect culo, los artistas suelen aportar su propio contenido de video de escenario y pantallas que son administradas por el operador de front-of-house. Todo el contenido del artista se carga en los servidores de medios Green Hippo D4 para integrarse con efectos y captura de video en vivo para que se ejecute sin problemas durante cada show.
La configuraci n AV de VER es la misma para cada noche, aunque los diferentes espacios var an en tama o y dise o. La distancia entre las diferentes reas a las que se env a el v deo es importante por lo que se recurre a l neas de fibra. Veinte mini convertidores AJA FiDO, facilitan la distribuci n por fibra. Todo el kit viaja en flypacks que se ajustan a dos camiones para facilitar el transporte e incluye: 10 AJA Ki Pro Racks para grabaci n, 2 FS2 para embeber audio, 20 FiDOs (con AJA DRM Mini-Converter) para fibra, 10 3GDA para distribuci n de video, 4 embebedores de audio HD10AMA, 10 convertidores Hi5 SDI a HDMI y 4 convertidores HA5 HDMI a SDI para monitoreo y captura HDMI, junto con 2 servidores de medios Green Doppo D4 y 2 consolas de iluminaci n GrandMA2.
