Pulse Films and Abot Hameiri unveil East Entertainment

Pulse and Israeli production house Abot Hameiri have launched a new company, East Entertainment, which will produce new global entertainment and reality formats.

Abot Hameiri, owned and managed by Eitan Abot and Guy Hameiri, is behind a large part of the primetime broadcast line-up in Israel, with credits including the Israeli versions of international formats such as X Factor, Survivor, Amazing Race, Beauty and the Geek and The Bachelor.

Pulse CEO Thomas Benski explained: The launch of East Entertainment comes at a time where we want to bullishly attack the TV and IP market. We believe that the combination of Nathan's experience and track record in creating and producing primetime shows, Pulse's modern approach to entertainment and IP and Abot Hamieri's world-renowned reputation as a high-end producer and creator of global entertainment formats, is incredibly exciting. I feel proud to be working alongside such dynamic and creative entrepreneurs and programme-makers. To be able to leverage Guy's impressive production capabilities and Israel's track record of creating hit global formats will be a real asset. East Entertainment will be headed up by newly appointed managing director, Nathan Eastwood (pictured). Eastwood has nearly 20 years of experience across a wealth of entertainment shows including TFI Friday, Bansai, Richard & Judy, X Factor, Hell's Kitchen, Balls of Steel and Bad Robots.
